To Whom It May Concern
I have spent forty years building companies, including two NASDAQ exits as a sitting CEO, and I am careful about whose judgment I trust on technology. I have worked with Phil Mudhir for an extended period now, across more than forty sessions of his teaching at oneday and in direct collaboration on my own ventures and one of his, so I can speak to his work firsthand.
Phil's approach to AI and automation is unusual in a field crowded with theorists. He teaches by building. He takes a real business problem, works it through to a working solution alongside you, and in doing so transfers the understanding rather than just the deliverable. For a leadership team that grasps the value of AI but does not have the hours to climb the learning curve themselves, that model is exactly right: you learn enough to govern the work with confidence, and Phil carries the execution you do not have time for. I have watched him run this model, and I have lived it as his client.
Three things distinguish him in my experience. First, he is practical. Everything he builds or teaches is applicable the same week, and he is disciplined about cost, both in dollars and in your team's attention. Second, he is current. The AI landscape shifts monthly, sometimes even weekly, and Phil stays on the working edge of it rather than using last year's, even last month's, playbook. Third, he is a founder himself. He built his first venture at oneday, and approaches every engagement with an operator's empathy for what it actually takes to run a business.
Our relationship has moved well beyond the classroom, and it follows the same arc I describe above. Phil and I are collaborating on two fronts. At GlobeLink Corp, my pre-IPO mobile financial platform, he started by working one business problem through with us, teaching as he built, and as the value became obvious his role grew into broader business model and technology applications work. I will have a similar need for his help with another company, IndigoBlue AI, where we need to marry his keen insight on automating the interface between our digital twin persona and the individual patient. I do these things with Phil because the quality of his thinking and the reliability of his delivery have earned it.
He is also simply generous. He gives his time freely, answers when you call, and invests in the people he works with well beyond the scope of any engagement. I recommend him without hesitation, and I am glad to take a call if a conversation would be useful.
